An attendee at the event asked: “MP, thank you for coming. You mentioned the pandemic. Let’s hope it’s behind us. But as the governor of Florida, would you be open to imposing or regulating face masks?
“I would be open to doing what scientists advise, not political scientists,” replied Crist. “Yup. I just read an article this morning. I’m glad you mentioned it, so I’m going to the airport right after. I’m going to Orlando and I’ll wear a mask on the plane. You don’t have to do this anymore, but I will because Florida is experiencing a rally that started this week. And it’s not the Omicron B2 either. It’s a new variant “.
