Former House Speaker Bronwyn Bishop says there is no point in having a pay rise if inflation rises and “absorbs all the pay rise you had.”
Ms. Bishop said wages grew slowly because “productivity was low”.
“Wages go up with productivity and productivity has been low, now that’s where the effort has to be made,” Ms. Bishop told Sky News host Gary Hardgrave.
