Representative Ritchie Torres first entered Congress in January 2021 and, like all members of the House, will be re-elected in November.
However, like Gov. DeSantis press secretary Christina Pushaw noted that Rep Torres’ stance on the word “Latinx” appears to have evolved, as evidenced by her recent response to a backing tweet from the New York Yankees account over previous remarks:
