RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter called at Scenic Rim after paratrooper crash

A woman sustained multiple limb injuries after a skydiving accident on the Scenic Rim, west of the Gold Coast.

The woman, who is in her 30s, was reportedly injured in a hard landing around 2:30 pm on Sunday.

The crew of the Sunshine Coast-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter was called in to assist Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics to help treat the woman’s injuries.

The helicopter pilot managed to land on the scene while other paratroopers landed safely.

The woman was flown to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in stable condition.
