Jets fear a rookie phenomenon has ripped the ACL against the Broncos

The New York Jets found an absolute gem in the second round of the NFL Draft with Breece Hall, but they may be without him for some time.

The Iowa State product left the game and was taken to the locker room after suffering a knee injury.

After the Jets’ 16-9 win, manager Robert Saleh told reporters that he feared the rookie would snatch his ACL.

Hall became a dominant three-down in his short spell in the NFL. It was originally supposed to be timeshare with the fourth round of 2021 Michael Carter, Hall quickly landed the role of bell ringer, deservedly.

In his last three games on Sunday, he had 279 yards of 55 carries, three of which were touchdowns. He also took six balls for 117 yards.

Before leaving the game, he recorded a quick 62-yard touchdown.

The Jets also lost offensive lineman Alijah Vera-Tucker, who was able to block from all points of the line, as well as wide receiver Corey Davis.

The Jets will now rely on Carter to keep the racing game stable, which he certainly has done before.

Carter looked like a steal in last year’s fourth round from North Carolina when he rushed for 639 yards on 147 carries in a committee. He also had 36 catches for 325 yards.
