The Labor authorities accepts the suggestions of the Juukan Gorge Inquiry

Sky Information Enterprise editor Ross Greenwood says two years after Rio Tinto’s destruction of the Juukan Gorge indigenous heritage web site, the federal government has accepted seven out of eight suggestions from a parliamentary inquiry.

“Safety orders shall be issued on 1000’s of websites throughout Australia,” Greenwood stated.

“The destruction of the 46,000-year-old Juukan Gorge broken Rio Tinto’s repute and finally reclaimed the posts of president, chief government officer and key executives.

“However conventional landlords affected by the destruction say they haven’t been correctly consulted by the federal government on the proposed modifications.”
