The Lakers’ Patrick Beverley has been suspended three video games for shoving the Suns’ Deandre Ayton

Los Angeles Lakers guard Patrick Beverley was suspended three video games by the NBA for shoving Deandre Ayton in heart of the Phoenix Suns within the again, knocking him to the ground in Tuesday’s recreation in Phoenix.

Beverley was assessed a technical foul and was ejected from the sport.

The NBA made the announcement Thursday afternoon, saying Beverley will start serving his suspension with out pay Nov. 25, when the The Lakers face the San Antonio Spurs.

The accident occurred in fourth quarter of Tuesday’s recreation when Suns guard Devin Booker fouled the Lakers’ Austin Reaves that was later dominated a flagrant-1.

Ayton gave the impression to be standing on high of Reaves, which was when Beverley put a shoulder into Ayton’s again, sending him to the bottom.

Lakers supervisor Darvin Ham defended Beverley after the sport, saying Beverley was defending his teammate.

“From what I noticed Ayton was there able to stroll on (Reaves),” Ham stated. “I am not mad at (Beverley). He is there to guard his teammate and I am certain he’ll face some type of consequence for that, however that is who we now have to be. The groups have to know they only cannot idiot us” .

The Lakers have performed their final 5 video games with out star LeBron James recovering from an adductor pressure. James is predicted to return on Friday in opposition to the San Antonio Spurs.
