Riot police used tear fuel to disperse anti-government protesters in new unrest in Peru’s capital Lima on Monday. They’re calling for President Dina Boluarte and her cupboard to step down. This disaster was triggered by the ousting of leftist and Indigenous president Pedro Castillo early final month and stems largely from a gaping inequality between Peru’s city elite and poor rural Indigenous individuals, who see Castillo as one among their very own.  The unrest has left 46 lifeless within the South American nation, and Inside Minister Vicente Romero forecasts no reduction.Watch video in participant above.
