CAPACOA and RIDEAU members can apply for the Presenter Capability Development Program – BC Alliance for Arts + Culture

The Speaker Capability Development Program (PCBP) is a joint funding program offered by CAPACOA and RIDEAU to provide members with access to better professional development tools. The goal is to help presenters rebuild their organizational capacity, support research projects and seek mentoring.

Description of the program

The program gives presenting organizations access to resources that can help build capacity. It is divided into three components:

  1. Organizational consultation – Organizations can apply for funds to hire consultants or specialists to assist them in capacity building and change management, research and planning, in person or online. This can take the form of coaching.

  2. tutoring – Organizations can apply for funds to enroll their managers in mentoring with a manager of the presenting organization.

  3. Professional development – Organizations can apply to participate in professional development workshops or seminars directly related to the specific capacity development needs of the organization. This is primarily intended for senior managers of presentation organizations. These can be done in person or online.
