Kolisi benched by Sharks, while Du Toit takes charge of the game of Dragons – The Citizen

Prop Thomas du Toit will lead the Sharks against the Dragons in a United Rugby Championship match in Durban on Friday.

Manager Sean Everitt made a total of five changes to the team that lost to Edinburgh last weekend, four of them in the group, including Siya Kolisi who moved on to the bench.

In the second row, Le Roux Roets starts in place of Reniel Hugo while there is a new final row consisting of James Venter for Kolisi, Jeandre Labuschagne for Henco Venter and Phepsi Buthelezi who enters for Sikhumbuzo Notshe.

Jaden Hendrikse replacing Grant Williams is the only change to a bottom line he played last week.

Everitt said the Dragons would be stronger than their recent form of late.

“All the European teams will be stronger than what we have faced in the last two weeks because they are taking their players back from Six Nations serve,” said the Sharks boss.

“So no team in this competition can be underestimated. If you are out of the game during the day, you can hide away big time.
