Elon Musk blows up Joe Biden, compares him to Anchorman

Tesla CEO Elon Musk withered Joe Biden during an interview this week, saying that the president is someone who only reads a teleprompter and that his administration has failed to do much.

“It’s hard to tell what Biden is doing to be totally frank,” Musk told podcast recorded Monday night during the All-In Summit with Chamath Palihapitiya, Jason Calacanis, David Sacks and David Friedberg.

“The real president is whoever controls the teleprompter. The path to power is the path to the teleprompter. I feel that if someone accidentally leans on the teleprompter, they would be like Anchorman,” added Musk, referring to the 2004 film about a news host. that he will read anything written on the teleprompter even if it ruins his career.

Musk, who says he voted overwhelmingly for the Democrats, did so repeatedly criticized President. He seemed irritated that Biden hosted several electric vehicle manufacturers at the White House, but ruled out Tesla. In an email to CNBC in February, Musk accused Biden of ignoring Tesla in favor of traditional car manufacturers. At one point Musk, in a tweet, called Biden a “puppet with a wet sock in human form”.

CNBC reported in March that Biden and his team were angered by Musk’s criticism.

“This administration doesn’t seem to have done much,” Musk added. “The Trump administration, aside from Trump, there were a lot of people in the administration who were effective in getting things done. This administration doesn’t seem to have the drive to bullshit. That’s my impression.”

A White House spokesperson was not immediately available to comment on Musk’s remarks.
