Analysis here:
In West Virginia’s second congressional district, we have a dispute between two incumbents – Reps. David McKinley and Alex Mooney – vying for a seat after reorganization:

Rep Mooney has received approval from former President Donald Trump, but Rep McKinley appears to have an advantage with voters in the new district:
McKinley represents 64% of the Republicans registered in # WV02 although Mooney got Trump’s approval after McKinley voted for the 2021 infrastructure bill and a bipartisan commission on Jan.6. (McKinley opposed the select committee that is now leading the investigation.)https://t.co/L6sKZmHOpb #wvpol

And McKinley “it represents 19 of the 27 counties in the new # WV02 including Wood (Parkersburg), Monongalia (Morgantown), Harrison (Clarksburg), Marion (Fairmont) “:

But the latest poll shows Mooney in the lead:

From our post:
“Democratic Senator Joe Manchin in West Virginia has released a new announcement in support of Republican David McKinley racing against incumbent Republican Alex Mooney in the state’s second congressional district.”
And in Nebraska, it’s a 9-a-side race with Charles Herbster, Jim Pillen and Brett Lindstrom backed by Trump in the lead:
The Nebraska Governor’s primary is a three-way contest between Charles Herbster, Jim Pillen, and Brett Lindstrom.
Herbster, who is backed by Trump, attended the January 6 demonstration. But he saw his lead in the polls waver after allegations of sexual assault.

Closing question: Could Trump’s approval put Herbster over the top? Stay tuned:
